More Winnipeg Pride just in time for Canada Day!

Well, I finally got around to designing some new screens and I hope you like them! I only had time to screen a few women's ones but I'll be making more for men soon as well as putting these new screens on towels. As per usual, you can get any of these neighborhoods on a shirt you bring in to me.





I've also got a new, bigger Riel Deal screen along with the ULTIMATE Manitoba Pride screen coming soon! Stay tuned!

In the mean time, make sure you make your way down to the Village on Friday for the Annual Canada Day Street Festival! It even looks like the weather might be perfect! (Fingers crossed) We're open from 11am to 9pm Friday and we'll be running our HUGE sale all day long! Come by and say hi and grab some sweet handmade awesomeness!

And for the first time, from what I hear, the vendors by Confusion Corner will be a lot of local designers and crafters! FINALLY! So make sure to walk the full length of the festival and take it all in! Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, an umbrella and your reusable bags and you'll be sure to have a fantastic Canada Day!

The Final Prize!

Well, this is the last week of the month which means this is the final prize pack for the 5 year anniversary celebration of Sew Dandee on Osborne. But have no fear! I'll keep having great give-aways and prizes for you lovely customers of mine to win the whole year through.

And I can't believe it's already here but next week Friday night is the start of the annual Osborne Village Street Festival and Canada Day celebration!! And as per usual, Sew Dandee will be having a HUGE sale so make sure to come by for a visit.

The streets will be shut down come 6pm on Thursday June 30th and all day Friday July 1st! Sew Dandee will be open from 10am until 9pm on Thursday and Friday for your handmade shopping pleasure! See you there!




Oh and on a side note, for all you aspiring sewers out there! My lovely friend, designer and seamstress extraordinaire, Melanie Wesley has found herself a fantastic studio space where she plans to offer sewing lessons and continue her project, Sew Free Winnipeg!

She'll be in Wolseley and hopes to have the studio open to the public come July. Check out her Facebook page for updates.

Monsters & prizes & sunshine, oh my!

Last night's Monster Making workshop was another success! Corina and Jane left with two adorable little squishy creatures to call their own! And check out the awesome use of an existing 'wing' image used as wings on Corina's bat cat!


I've got the next workshop scheduled for July 12th so be sure to come down to Sew Dandee and register today!
