Nature is the New Black Fashion Show Pics!

To all of you who were able to make it to the show, THANKS! It was a fun and successful night filled with some amazing designs. I'm always blown away at the diversity of each designer's ideas and how somehow, each line compliments each other. So, here are a few shots of my designs that are all now available at Sew Dandee. None of the shots show the awesome legwarmers that are now at the store just in time for those chilly fall days!


Hopefully more shots from the show will turn up soon and I'll be sure to post them on here.


This dress and cowl was in the show but I haven't got a picture of the model wearing it yet so, here it is on a mannequin here at the store. I'm all over the 'bow' detailing these days as you can see from the denim jacket and matching purse I had in the fashion show. You can wear it bunched up as a bubble dress or pulled down.

Fantastic New Items This Week!

Swap was a success!

Thanks so much to the girls who came out to the swap last night! A great time and some fantastic outfits filled our little mini fashion show evening! From shirts that were hard to part with but had to be let go to some priceless finds from the little old lady upstairs that passed away and left her wardrobe and some fond memories behind for us to discover. It was so rewarding seeing people fall in love with some of the pieces and get so excited over the unveiling of their new outfits!

Now onto the next swap! It's coming up on November 3rd so you've got lots of time to ransack your closet and put aside some lonely pieces needing a new home. The next swap will be bigger and better and I'll make sure to bake extra brownies this time! See you all there!

Clothing Swap is TONIGHT!

I've extended the drop off time to 4pm today if anyone else wants to participate in the swap tonight. Get your clean, gently worn clothing in to me here at the store today before 4pm and register. I'm already planning another swap in the next month or so, so if you can't make this one, don't fret! Put your clothes aside and keep your eyes peeled for the next Sew Dandee Swap!

New Headbands!

First, I have to apologize for the creepy faced mannequins I have to use to model my new headbands. But check out the awesome new fabrics I've got! And I hope to find time to make some wide waist band belt out of some of this fabric soon, too! Of course I've got some solid color ones too like black, red and blues. The headbands, as always, are $7 each or 3 for $18. Come load up today!
