December's Event Calendar! Support handmade!!

The busy season is upon us! Also known as the BUY SPEND SPEND season. This year your local makers have made it SO easy for you to support local artists, makers and designers! Every weekend from now on to the last few days before Christmas is chock full of amazing craft and artisan sales for you to check out while making your rounds to your favorite locally owned and operated shops! (like Sew Dandee! *winkwink*) I've put a few of these sales on the December calendar to make them that much easier for you to find. In addition to Sew Dandee, be sure to visit shops like Tara Davis Studio Boutique, Tiny Feast, Silver Lotus, Rhymes with Orange, The Ruby Slipper and all the other amazing, unique small businesses in our fine city! Skip the soul sucking malls and big box stores. They don't deserve your hard earned money. We've got everything you could ever need or want. And if we don't have it, chances are we can make it for you! Can they do that for you at Walmart or Forever 21??

On a side note: my other project, Andorah's Feast will be at the December 6th Makers Market, the Crafted By Hand Artisan Sale on December 8th and fingers crossed, the Holiday Pop-Up Shop put on by our lovely friends at the Winnipeg Etsy Street Team and the Winnipeg Makers Market on December 21st! If you like yummy food that happens to be vegan, gluten free, soy free and refined sugar free, you'll want to come track us down! We'll have plenty of holiday party snacks and great gift ideas for you hungry foodies!
